Share Your Own Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Obama

Yesterday in a speech on the campaign trail, Senator Obama ad-libbed this:
By the end of the week, he'll be accusing me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in kindergarten. I shared my -- I shared my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Use whatever cliche you want, but this could be a touchdown, a home-run, or a soft lob for McCain.

I DON'T CARE IF OBAMA SHARES HIS OWN TOYS OR SHARES HIS OWN SANDWICH WITH THE OTHER KINDERGARTENERS! JUST DON'T TAKE MY TOYS AND MY SANDWICH AND SHARE THEM WITH HIS CLASSMATES!

Nobody will accuse you of being a Communist Obama if you shared your own toys and sandwich. The problem is that you want to take other people's hard earned peanut butter and jelly and give it to people so you can be the teacher's pet or the classroom favorite. Democrats are so convinced that it's their money that they take from American citizens, that they refer to it as their money.

One thing I learned in kindergarten is share my own toys, not take from others!

Words are important...."share" is different from "take." B.O. needs to back to kindergarten.

I whole-heartedly agree! The problem is, society always made Robin Hood a hero despite the fact he broke the commandment against stealing.

Obama sharing his PB&J in kindergarten doesn't make him a socialist, it only makes him out to be a nice kid. Forcing other kids who already share 25-33% of their sandwiches to share even more IS socialism. In essence, an Obama administration will become the schoolyard bully, taking your lunch money to use for their own purposes. Don't fall for this "95% will get a tax cut" nonsense, especially when 40% pay none now. Taxing "the rich", currently defined at $200,000 and falling is a populist ploy. Consider that the Alternative Minimum Tax was once focused on "the rich", yet thousands of middle class families are now at risk of being ensnared by the AMT every year and Congress "patches" the problem every year rather than eliminate this risk to middle class families.

By the way, since Obama understood the value of sharing when he was in kindergarten, I trust that he has continued demonstrating that desire to share, perhaps by writing checks to the Bureau of the Public Debt. I'm not holding my breath.

In defense of Robin Hood (partly tongue in cheek), he did not take from the rich to give to the poor. He took from the corrupt tax collectors to return the money to those from whom it had been ripped by force. Different matter entirely.
